Here are some of the photos from the outdoor
service. This was an historic event in the lives of the local
churches. We held a joint service complete with each of the churches
conducting "live water" baptisms. It began with Dan Fleming,
followed by us, then by the Assembly of God. Dan baptized one person,
then we Baptized Angelique, then the AoG did one Baptism and then Dan again
and so on, on a rotating basis. All in all there were 13 baptisms down
by the creek that Sunday. Praise God.
First up for our church was Angelique.
I asked her, "Are you ready to be
Baptized?"
She shook her head slightly and said,
"Yes." She was precious. Makiah,
Braeden (mostly blocked by Makiah), Candace
and Jim looked on.
And now it's Braeden's turn. All these
young children of Tiffany and Pete's,
what a blessing.
The only thing I enjoy more than this about
Makiah is hearing
her sing. What a big step for these
young people!
And now it's Kandace's turn. Her photo
is being blocked by her
dad, Jim. I hope we can find another
picture where she isn't blocked.
Bryan was a tad larger than Angelique, so I
asked Jim for help.
Here He's getting ready.
