- Bike Ride in Glendale

- On the evening of July
16, the Olivet Youth group met in front of the church a bit before
7:00PM. We all said Hi and took off on our bike ride.
- We rode past the
Morningstar Coffee Shop and turned on a route that would take us to the
high school. On the way we came to a yard sale and Isaac asked if we
could stop for a minute; so we did. Isaac, much to his delight,
found three Beatle albums and a pair of hedge clippers. We rode
around for thirty more minutes. Then we went back to the church to
eat watermelon.
- Isaac went next door and
got his record player to test out his new (well, new to him) albums.
Kandace and I dug into some delicious watermelon (courtesy of my mom :) )
while we waited for Isaac. He returned and put on Sgt.
Peppers. With "Fixing a Hole" playing softly in the
background, we started to talk about group plans.
- The parents arrived and we
ran our plans by them. We said goodbye and we left.
- I'm not sure about everyone
else, but i enjoyed that bike ride a lot.
